Abstract

The General Educational Program of the National Aquarium of Cuba is presented, in which  non-formal activities predominate, supported mainly in teaching games among others, that favor the assimilation of content and concepts in a fluid, dynamic and entertaining way. This program develops attention to adolescents and young people, aims to develop a model of Environmental Education that contributes to transform attitudes with respect to the environment, achieving the self-supporting participation of children, adolescents, young people and older adults in solving environmental problems in their communities, strengthens the content of science subjects, promotes the development of values and contributes to the development of vocational orientation , where we already have results from young people who have opted for environmental profiling careers. Activities are carried out through talks, conferences, participation games, among others.
