Implementation of Mulberry (Morus albas) in sheep feeding in the Livestock (UEB), El Salvador, Guantánamo

Abstract
The forage plant program is one of the prioritized tasks in Cuba. The objective of this work is the implementation of the Morera (Morus albas) forage plant for sheep feeding in the Limoncito (UEB) Pecuario Limoncito, El Salvador, Guantánamo. A descriptive, non-experimental research was carried out, supported by the methodology described by (Sampier, 2013). Techniques such as interview and direct observation of managers, technicians, workers, were used to determine the potentialities and limitations for livestock feeding. As a result, 7.5 hectares of the Morera forage plant were implemented, which guaranteed food in times of drought; Trainings were carried out for managers, technicians and workers, which enabled better productive indicators, with an increase of 20%, in the animal mass and a good use in the use of this forage plant.
