Abstract

This study evaluates the behavior of gas emissions combustion products produced by the generator Lister Petter LPWS2 test using diesel magnetically treated as fuel. To stimulate fuel magnetic devices based permanent magnets neodymium-iron-boron were used, with an average of 3662 Gauss magnetic induction, using a dipole configuration and a diamagnetic pipe. The treatment of fuel was performed before being fed into the engine deposits. The evaluation was performed for hundreds of different generator loads. Gas Analyzer Testo 350 was used to measure emissions of products of combustion gases such as CO, CO2 and NOx. In order to compare, they were made several experiments using diesel fuel without magnetic treatment. By applying  fuel magnetic treatment was able to reduce several greenhouse gases as CO, CO2 and NOx emissions by about 15%, 5% and 8% respectively; all this at 96% load. This proposal ensures the generation of electrical energy in an efficient and respectful towards the environment, with reduced emissions of several gases that cause the greenhouse effect harmful.
